Community Champion

Help promote Feeding Hong Kong and raise awareness of food waste, poverty and food banking in your area. Community Champions also play a key role in helping recruit volunteers and strengthening community networks.

What will I be doing:
  • Educate your local community about the issues of food waste, food poverty and how FHK tackles these problems
  • Attend events to promote FHK
  • Be a key contact and champion for the FHK volunteer network and help recruit individuals for volunteering activities
Working day:
  • Mon – Fri
  • Half day shift (am/pm) or full day shift
  • Ad hoc weekend & evening shifts
Requirements:
  • Comfortable speaking to groups of people
  • Positive, proactive, personable & reliable
  • Active in your community and networks – good links to local community groups and schools would be ideal
